It is only one mile east of the I-95/I-74 interchange, and is just across US-74 from the S.E. North Carolina Agricultural Events Center. County water service is located 500' +/- east of the site on the northeast side of US-74. The western corner of the Ag Ctr is located 800' +/- east of the site. The Ag Ctr is serviced by Lumberton sewer service, located about 500' north of the western corner of the Ag Ctr. Currently, a pressure sewer line from the property would have to be run to the sewer service on the Ag Ctr. Longer-term, a gravity sewer line would likely flow west along Thompson Rd to a potential Lumberton sewer trunk line. Some assistance from the City and County for water and sewer costs may be provided for the developer of this site, depending on the number of jobs generated.
