North Topsail Landing is planned to be created in several phases. Phase I is designed to be devoted to Multi-Family and single family rental which has already been contracted to start development at the rear of the site. Phase II will be devoted to the development of the out parcels located along NC 210 HWY. Phase III will be compromised of office type developments. The final phase will be Retail establishments in a Town Center configuration and feel.
The retail out parcels are scheduled to be ready for development by the second quarter of 2023 and will include available area utilities to their parcel boundaries, storm water mitigation and access to the signalized intersection of NC 210 HWY & Ridgefield Ave.
Area Description:
The charming village of Sneads Ferry dates to 1728, taking its name from an early ferry crossing at the New River. Located a few miles from the vibrant City of Jacksonville and adjacent to Camp Lejeune, it was once a small fishing village located on the Intercoastal Waterway but has become is a fast-growing coastal community primarily due to its location as the gateway to the nationally acclaimed Topsail Island beaches.
Sneads Ferry is also a popular located for personnel and their families that work at the local Military installations as it contains the back gate on Hwy 172 for the Marine Base Camp Lejeune, home to a population of approximately 130,000 people. It is also the home to the newly expanded Marine Corps Forces Special Operations Command (MARSOC) Complex and only about 15 minutes form the entrance into the Marine Corps New River Air Station.
